Rondee Gaines, Ph.D., is a native of Flint, MI, and works as an adjunct assistant professor of Communication Studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, NY. Her published scholarship analyzes mass mediated messages and rhetorical studies, critiques various aspects of Reconstruction, the Civil Rights Movement, the Black Power Movement, the Black Arts Movement, black cultural communication, gendered institutional racism, African American rhetoric, womanism, feminism, black feminism, and the black women’s resistance tradition. In 2020, she launched her website infinitelifecoaching.org and published seven books, which can all be found at Amazon.
