
Lisa Michaels
Lisa Michaels is a PhD candidate at Boston University’s School of Theology, specializing in history and hermeneutics, with a specific interest in the intersection between the liturgy of the church and implications for practical, everyday theology. She is a two-time graduate of Northwest Nazarene University, with an M.A. in Spiritual Formation and an M.Div. She is also an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene. In addition to scholarly work, Lisa is engaged with serving her neighbors through Immigrant Connection and walking alongside undergraduate students as they explore the world through local, stateside, and international learning, mission, and service trips. Lisa lives in New Hampshire with her spouse and youngest three children and their gigantic Bernedoodle.
