Social Transformation

Are you ready to think critically about socio-political dynamics and reflect on the role of spiritual and theological traditions in social movements? Combining the tools of social change with practical and constructive theology, we’ll prepare you to be an innovative and effective leader in an increasingly pluralistic and complex world.

Master of Arts in Leadership

Do you see yourself in congregational community engagement, national faith-based advocacy, or organizing for eco-justice? A Master’s in Social Transformation may be right for you.

Interreligious Engagement

United students proudly represent more than 20 faith traditions and religious identities, including those who claim no religious tradition at all. Interreligious engagement at United is not solely about providing hospitality and welcome but also humbly seeking knowledge and insight and growth in all of our relationships.
