ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR EMERITA OF WORSHIP AND THEOLOGY AND THE ARTS

Jann Cather Weaver is Associate Professor Emerita of Worship and Theology and the Arts at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities. She is a progressive educator with a background/interest in education and organizational leadership, professional consultation for churches, pedagogical theory, professional and vocational discernment, social media in education and religious leadership, photographic art, citizen journalism, web and media news productions, original visuals, and virtual world education. An ordained minister in the United Church of Christ, she served parishes in Missouri and Wisconsin. She earned her Master of Divinity from Eden Theological Seminary and her Ph.D. from The Graduate Theological Union in Theology and the Arts. She is author of numerous articles and book chapters, as well as co-author of Imaging the Word: Arts and Lectionary Resource, Vol. I, co-edited by Ken Lawrence and Sid Fowler.
