“BEING THE
CHURCH IN A POSTMODERN WORLD”
How
will the church speak a word of God’s love in a postmodern
reality? How will we communicate the Gospel in imaginative
and engaging ways? What word of hope can the church bring
to the public square? How will globalization continue to
change the church and the society to which it is called?
How can church leaders in a fractured, frantic, post-Christian,
and even post-religious society respond to people’s
deepest spiritual hungers and build God’s beloved
community? Join us as members of United’s faculty,
along with Bishop John Shelby Spong, explore these important
questions.
