The Office of Admissions would like to invite you to special event titled “May Day!” specifically geared towards persons who find themselves in the midst of career change by choice or chance. The program is being offered for persons who are discerning what may be the next steps in life, where the call from God might be taking them, or if seminary is the next step in the journey…

In addition to United’s director of admissions, Glen Herrington-Hall, the leadership for the day will include Dr. Carolyn Pressler, Harry C. Piper Jr. professor of biblical interpretation, and a panel of students who can address your questions and concerns from their personal experience.

The day’s program will also feature Neal Hagberg, 1/2 of the locally known and beloved duo Neal & Leandra. Neal’s life journey has had its own twists and turns, including an M.Div. from Luther Seminary. His particular path has led him to facilitate dialogue using his music as the entry point for discussion about creation and creativity and how we can see ourselves as co-creators of our own life stories.

Join us for the day, and let us help you answer some of your questions. There is no fee to participate, and a delicious lunch will be provided. We will begin promptly at 9 AM in the beautiful Bigelow Chapel on United’s campus.
